Day to day
Holidays, leave & closures
Closing the whole organization, one calendar, or one person — and who covers.
Your weekly open hours are the pattern. Holidays, leave and closures are the days that break it — set once, and every calendar, the board and the booking page follow.
| Use | When | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Holiday | The whole organization is closed on a date. | Holidays & leave |
| Leave | One person is away for one or more days. | Holidays & leave |
| Closure | One date is closed, for everyone or one calendar. | Settings → Closures & special hours |
| Special hours | One date opens at different times — a half day, an extra session. | Settings → Closures & special hours |
Leave
Open Holidays & leave and choose Add leave. Everyone can add and edit their own; Admins and the Owner can manage everyone's.
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Who | The person who is away. |
| First day / Last day | The last day is included. |
| Covered by | Who takes their bookings meanwhile. With nobody covering, their calendars are closed for the leave. |
| Cover until | When the cover ends. Blank means the whole leave. |
| Note | For your team. |
Leave applies to the calendars assigned to that person (see Assigned to). On the board their column then reads "Covered by …", or is closed.
Holidays
Add holiday closes the whole organization on a date — every calendar, the board and the booking page. Adding holidays needs an Admin or the Owner. Holidays and organization-wide closures are the same thing, so one shows up in both lists.
Closures & special hours
For one-off changes to a single date. Open Settings → Closures & special hours and choose Add a date.
- Date — the day it applies to.
- What happens — Closed all day (no bookings can be taken), or Special hours with an Opens and Closes time, used instead of the usual hours. Special hours can also open a day you are normally closed.
- Applies to — the whole organization, or one calendar.
- Note — customers see it on the booking page when the day is closed ("Closed for Diwali").
The list is split into Coming up and Past.
