Your organization
Sign-in, app & account
Signing up, confirming your email, resetting a password, the phone app, and deleting your account.
How to get into CalendarBook on the web and on your phone, and how to leave for good if you want to.
Signing up and signing in
There are two ways in:
- Google. On Create your account choose Sign up with Google, or Continue with Google on Sign in. CalendarBook asks Google only for your name, email address and profile picture. Connecting a calendar is a separate step (see Google Calendar).
- Email and password. On Create your account give your name, email and a password of at least 8 characters.
Confirming your email
After signing up with an email and password, we send a 6-digit confirmation code (and a link) to that address. Enter the code on the Confirm your email page, or open the link. You cannot sign in with the password until the address is confirmed — signing in before then simply sends you a fresh code. Each code allows five tries, and a new one can be asked for after a short wait.
The first time you are in, an organization is set up for you automatically.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in page choose Forgot password?, or go to Reset your password.
- Enter your email. If it belongs to an account, a reset link is sent to it.
- Open the link and choose a New password, typed twice. Setting it signs you out of every other device.
The mobile app
CalendarBook has an app for Android and iOS. It is the same CalendarBook you use in a browser — the same account, organizations and data — laid out for a phone:
- It opens straight on your Home page.
- The main sections sit in a tab bar along the bottom, with Settings at the end.
- Signing in with Google, and connecting a Google Calendar, open in your phone's browser for safety. Finish there and you are brought back to the app.
- The free app shows a small banner advertisement at the bottom.
The phone's Back button and gestures work as you would expect. Everything you change in the app is on the web at once, and the other way round.
Deleting your account
- Email support@crawlink.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my CalendarBook account. In the app, Settings → My profile → Delete my account opens that email for you.
- We reply to confirm, and delete the account within 30 days of that reply.
What goes:
- Your account — your name, email and picture.
- Your membership of every organization, and invitations you sent that are still open.
- Every Google Calendar connection you made; the access is revoked at Google.
- If you are the only owner of an organization, the organization itself and everything in it, 30 days later.
